How to use Kanji Flashcard to master Japanese JLPT
Getting Started
Open the app and you'll see the Learn Japanese screen.
Choose your study type:
- ๐ Kanji โ Learn Japanese kanji with readings, meanings, and examples
- ๐ Vocabulary โ Build your Japanese vocabulary
- โ๏ธ Grammar โ Master Japanese grammar points
- ๐ง Listening โ Improve your listening comprehension
๐ก Tip: Tap the icon to switch between study types.
Selecting Your Level
After choosing your study type, select your JLPT Level:
- N5 โ Beginner
- N4 โ Elementary
- N3 โ Intermediate
- N2 โ Pre-Advanced
- N1 โ Advanced
Using Flashcards
Each flashcard has two sides:
- Front: Displays the kanji, vocabulary word, or grammar point
- Back: Shows the reading, meaning, example sentence, and stroke order
๐ก Tip: Tap the card to flip it. Swipe left/right to navigate.
Stroke Order
For kanji study, you'll see a Stroke Order section on the back of the card.
Use the buttons to learn the correct stroke sequence:
- Prev / Next: Navigate through individual strokes
- Auto: Automatically cycle through all strokes
- Reset: Return to the first stroke
Audio Pronunciation
Tap the ๐ Speaker Icon next to any text to hear the pronunciation
using Text-to-Speech (TTS).
Changing Language
Go to Settings (gear icon in the top right corner) to change
your study language:
- ๐บ๐ธ English
- ๐ฒ๐ฒ แแผแแบแแฌ (Burmese)
- ๐จ๐ณ ไธญๆ (Chinese)
- ๐ป๐ณ Tiแบฟng Viแปt (Vietnamese)
- ๐น๐ญ เนเธเธข (Thai)
- ๐ฎ๐ฉ Bahasa Indonesia
Tracking Progress
Your learning progress is automatically saved locally on your device.
You can reset all progress from the Settings screen.
๐ก Tip: A "Mastered" badge appears when you've reviewed an item at least 10 times with 80%+ accuracy.
